All in all, it was a great afternoon and I really appreciate being invited to share in the joy!
I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding reception last month. The bride and groom had actually been married about a month prior. They ran off to a tropical island by themselves to get married- how romantic! The reception was their chance to celebrate with family and friends. I have never shot such a large event before; I had a lot of fun and learned a lot, too. Following are some of my favorite pictures from the day: There is something about that last one of the groom giving a toast I really like...

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their friends and families! I sure did. Last weekend before the craziness of the holiday week began I shot a mini-session of the sweetest and most well-behaved children. They were a joy to work with. Here are a few pictures from that day, enjoy!
I finally finished editing all the photos from the session last week. There were a lot of great shots, but these few stood out as my favorites from the day!
I apologize for my blog updates being a bit behind; I've been extremely busy with my "day job", family responsibilities, and the usual chaos that comes with the holidays. However, I wanted to be sure and share this fun session. After a few scheduling challenges, I finally got to meet this good-looking family to take some family portraits the other day. Here is a sneak peek! I just love how you can see how much they still adore each other, even after many years of marriage and three teenagers :)
I got the chance to shoot some family pictures for one of my dearest friends today. I had a great time capturing her adorable family! I also think she did a fantastic job choosing outfits. Love the coordinating yellow and blues! Here is a sneak peek, more to come later!
