I’ve been so busy- first working full-time at a domestic violence shelter as staff attorney providing “holistic legal representation” to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Needless to say it was highly rewarding work but also left zero time for photography.. or anything to recharge my soul, really.
I then became hopelessly and completely addicted to Lularoe clothing. All my other suburban mom’s know what I’m talking about. It began as a method of stress relief but when we needed a quick way to make money to replace my income I began selling it- and it’s been such an awesome adventure! My health has not been improving, I was first diagnosed with Still’s Disease but my diagnosis is likely to change to Lupus. With Lularoe, I can rest when I need to and hustle when I have the energy. I also get to make women feel beautiful and play with pretty clothes all day. As a girl, I’d spend hours making outfits for Barbie, now I get to do that and get paid for it 🤣 it’s not easy, I still work many hours and work hard, but it is simple: buy at wholesale, resell at a higher price. I’m not a huge seller by any means; the fatigue and pain I experience every day limit how much effort I can really put in but I have an amazing and supportive group of “VIPs” and I do well enough 🙂
ANYWAY all to say, I am still available for photography as well. In fact, I welcome the change from photographing clothes! 😂
